This privacy notice applies to the personal data processed as part of public consultations, conducted by Metro Property Investments, whose registered office 27 Hornby Square Southfields Business Park, Laindon, Essex, SS15 6SD. 1.The data being processed
We process your name, address, phone number and email address. We process this data to enable you to participate in public consultations regarding planning applications that we have submitted. If you choose to participate in a public consultation, we also process any comments or views you submit as part of the consultation. After gathering all consultation responses, we will update and make any necessary changes to our plans.
We share your data with trusted external contractors, who support us with the public consultation process. We will also share your views with the relevant Local Authority Planning Department.
2.The lawful basis for the processing
We source your data from publicly available sources, so that we can contact you initially. Any subsequent processing of your data is undertaken under the lawful basis of consent.
Please note that you do not have to consent and participate in the public consultation process. If you do consent, your data will be processed and stored in line with this privacy notice.
Just because you have consented now, does not mean that you can’t change your mind in the future. If you would like to withdraw your consent, you can do so at any time. To withdraw your consent, please contact us by email on Suppport@metrocareliving.com
3. The retention period for the personal data
We retain your personal data for up to one year after commencement of building works on site. This is known as the ‘retention period’.

5. The rights available to individuals in respect of the processing
The GDPR provides you with the following rights:
- The right to be informed e.g., via Privacy notices or policies such as this one.
- The right of access or your right to make a subject access request.
- The right to rectification or your right to have inaccurate personal data rectified.
- The right to erasure, also known as the right to be forgotten.
- The right to restrict processing or limit the way your data is processed.
- The right to data portability or the right for you to receive the data you have provided to us in an easy-to-use format or request that this is transmitted to another data controller.
- The right to object or your right to ask a controlled to stop processing your data.
- Rights in relation to automated decision making and profiling.
